中央災害應變中心今天(7日)下午召開第三次工作會報，行政院長林全在行政院秘書長陳美伶、政院發言人童振源等人陪同下，前往視察。陳美伶表示，「尼伯特」颱風與去年的「蘇迪勒」颱風類似，風勢及雨勢將集中於夜間，各工程單位應嚴防路樹、電線桿、鷹架倒塌，且為避免危險產生，各縣市地下道應有警戒線，並應加強安全維護宣導。

陳美伶指出，有鑑於去年蘇迪勒颱風造成大規模停電情形，台電公司因人手不足，復電速度不如預期，她請台電公司這次務必做到資訊公開透明，在台電網站上說明各區的復電速度，讓民眾安心。

此外，陳美伶也指示相關單位要掌握目前漁船靠港及漁工安置等情況，並列入每次工作會報的報告事項，地方政府也要加強街友安置等工作。
